To complement the challenge of singing a varied repertoire, the drama will provide the students with an ability to perform the songs with confidence and charisma.
Performers will develop their spoken voice alongside their singing, and to build an emotional vocabulary to support the development of character.
The drama classes also offer one to one tuition to focus on LAMDA examinations and Drama school/college auditions.
There will be classes in Classical and Contemporary Theatre Performance from Greek Theatre to the present day, particularly monologues and soliliquys.
The analysis of text and it's meaning, the use of emotional, physical and vocal rhythm within performance and audition technique.

Julie Barclay, is an actress and lecturer in Performing Arts and Drama
with 20 years professional experience.
She studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama at the same time as Louise Ryan, where they became friends, and has over 20 years professional experience teaching and performing with various theatre companies including The Hull Truck Theatre Company, The Sherman Theatre Company, Leeds Playhouse Company, Theatr Iolo, Theatr Na'nog Theatr y Byd, The Northcott Theatre Exeter and The English Speaking Theatre Company of Copenhagen. 
Julie has directed the Sherman Youth Theatre and the Shakespeare Schools Festival in Wales. She is an Associate Lecturer in Performing Arts at Coleg Glan Hafren and currently lectures in Acting Studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Julie has been most recently seen in episodes of 'Torchwood' and 'Belonging' for the BBC.
